Worship Philosophy | Worship is a God-given response to His revelation. Worship is not just music, it is lived out in every area of an individual’s life.
Realizing that a large percentage of worship time is allotted to the ministry of music, we as musicians must accept the responsibility of technical preparation, physical preparation, and most importantly, spiritual preparation in order that our lives and talents may be used of God to lead our congregation in worship.
The Worship Ministry is founded in the Word of God. To be effective, it must be properly balanced with the emphasis on “psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs” (Ephesians 5:19). This will provide the congregation with worthy and capable musical vehicles for expressing themselves in worship to God. The goals of such a program are to utilize the medium of music to communicate the Gospel, to lead in worship, and to enlist others in the ministry of music. The music repertoire intentionally consists of contemporary music, along with older choruses and modern hymns.
Special Occasions Worship Choir | The Worship Choir ministers during special occasions throughout the year. (i.e. Christmas, Easter)
Worship Orchestra | Ministers on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month.
