Annapolis By Candlelight, Saturday, November 4th at 5pm||  A crisp autumn evening is the perfect time to walk through one of the historic neighborhoods of Annapolis. The experience is even better when the doors to some of the homes are open and you are invited inside. Each year in early November, Historic Annapolis showcases privately-owned historic houses on its popular Annapolis by Candlelight tour. Visitors see how 21st-century Annapolitans care for and live in buildings built in the 20th, 19th, or 18th century. Each house is a reminder of the rich architectural and cultural heritage of Maryland’s capital city and illustrates the practical and aesthetic benefits of effective historic preservation. More specific details will be announced at a later date.

FAQ

HOW DOES THE CARPOOL WORK?

Those wishing to carpool - either as a passenger or as a driver -  meet at the time and location specified in the invitation.  If you arrive beyond the specified time, you will be on your own to meet at the event.

I'M BEYOND THE RSVP DEADLINE. CAN I STILL ATTEND?

RSVPs are essential because large groups require special reservations.  Please do reach out, even if you’re late.  The more, the merrier!  If there are no RSVPs by the deadline, please note that the event may be canceled or postponed.  Please also note that in some instances the venue may not be able to accommodate and/or allow changes to the headcount at the last minute.

WHAT IF I BOUGHT A TICKET FOR AN EVENT AND MY PLANS CHANGE?

I do not actively seek out folks to buy unused tickets.  If someone comes along wishing to purchase a ticket, however, I am happy to help sell yours.  Should this occur, it will be your responsibility to contact the purchaser and work out the arrangements.
