JANUARY IS HUMAN TRAFFICKING AWARENESS MONTH || During National Human Trafficking awareness and prevention month, Amazing Grace Ministries wants to equip those attending Heritage on Sunday morning with information to prevent, report and respond to those who may be in bondage. SELAH || Wednesday, January 16th at 7pm in the Sanctuary. Join us for a time of prayer, praise and reflection. All regularly scheduled adult ministries will take a break for the evening and gather together in the Sanctuary. Nursery, Mpact, Royal Rangers and Zealous Students will participate in their normal Wednesday activities.
The Nexus Cafe will be open at 5:30pm with a special Selah supper! Chicken salad sandwich, chips, and bottle of water $5. Hamburger & fries $6. Chicken tenders, fries, and bottle of water $6. Hot dog and fries $2. BLT and fries $5.
50+ CLUB EVENTS || You're invited to our Cool Jazz/Hot Coffee Program on January 19th at 2pm. Musicians from our Worship Team will be offering up some cool jazz in the Zealous Lounge while the Nexus Cafe serves up hot coffee and delicious treats. Come enjoy music, refreshments, and fellowship! You are also invited to our "Hole Lotta Love" Breakfast on February 16th at 9am in the Gathering Place. where you can enjoy breakfast, a "donut hole wall" and great fellowship. FREE TAX PREP || HCC offers FREE federal and state Income tax return preparation under the AARP Tax Aide program. This service is open to anyone, HCC members or not, who are elderly or have moderately low income. We have several counselors that work together on Tuesday evenings from 6:30pm to 8:30pm from February 5th until April 9th. Appointments may be made by contacting Jay Hessey. HCC needs IRS certified volunteer tax counselors in order to provide this service to local taxpayers. INNOCENCE STOLEN - PROTECTING OUR CHILDREN ONLINE || Monday, January 28th at 7pm in the Gathering Place. Join us during National Human Trafficking Month for this Community awareness event to provide information necessary to keep children safe on the internet. The information will be presented by Mr. Vincent DeVivo, Community Outreach Specialist, United States Attorney's Office, District of Maryland. Topics covered will include: social networking, cyber bullying, sexting and internet predators. The program provides prevention and intervention strategies and internet safety resources. Questions? NIGHT TO SHINE || 'Night to Shine' will be held at Faith Baptist Church in Glen Burnie on February 8th at 6pm. The event is an unforgettable prom night experience, centered on God's love, for people with special needs ages 14 and older. Community Kids meet at 10am in the Children’s Wing and Zealous Students meet at 10am in the Zealous Lounge, in the Ministtry Center. Ministerio Hispano meets at 10am in Community Hall 1 of the Ministry Center.

Mondays at 6:30pm in Room 237, Griefshare is a 13 week, bible based support group/seminar for those grieving the death of a loved one. We are a very casual group and never pressure anyone to talk. 1-hour Zumba based Praise and Worship workout. Every Monday in the Music Room from 6:00pm to 7:45pm beginning February 4th ending on March 25th. Open to all ladies. Tuesdays || VOLLEYBALL
Volleyball is an Adult Coed group of volleyball enthusiasts that meet from 6:30 – 8:30/9:00 pm on Tuesday nights. We play pick up games of loosely organized volleyball on two courts in Grand Hall 2 & 3. We are open to anyone from High School up through AARP certified. We do ask that you have basic volleyball skills (pass, set, spike) with a willingness to work on improving your skills, a reasonable knowledge of the game, and the physical ability to play the game. The level of play is well beyond the just for fun, backyard, slap the ball around kind of game, but still a little short of organized, competitive, indoor volleyball. If you are interested in exploring possible participation in Tuesday Night Volleyball, you can contact Pastor Cary Sharpe by phone at 410.551.8500 ext 1208. Or you could just flag him down and ask him about it at church. He loves to talk about volleyball!

Tuesdays at 6:30pm in Room 237. The English as a Second Language (ESOL) life group exists to provide love, practical support and a close-knit community to foreign-born individuals. Homeless clothes drive: Items needed, gently used coats, socks, blankets and sweaters. All ages, male and female. Place items in the boxes in the narthex of the church and ministry center. For more information, contact Linda Rudisill at 410.969.1361.
SCHOOL BACKPACK PROGRAM
School is back in session!!! Our back pack program is in need of food to help the 52 children we help every weekend with food. Our closet is empty. Please consider getting some extra non-perishable kid type food for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack. Please place in bread pantry containers around the campus.
