Welcome to the Ladies Ministries of Heritage Community Church. We are an active part of our church and community and we'd like to invite you to learn more about us, meet some new friends, and make a difference in someone’s life. Here’s a list of some of the events we sponsor on a regular basis. Be sure to check the calendar or church bulletin for specific dates/times. We have something for ladies of all ages and would love for you to join us at our next event.

Nexus Café  |  The Nexus Café is open on Wednesday evenings from 5:30-7:00 pm and Sundays from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm The café serves regular and specialty coffees, as well as sandwiches and homemade baked goods and is a comfortable place to relax and fellowship with others.

Women's Bible Study  |  Held every Wednesday from 7:00-8:30 pm in the Nexus Café. An in-depth Bible Study with open discussion and prayer for women. It is a time to reflect and remember that we are usable vessels of God. Come early for some coffee and a bite to eat while catching up with friends.

Ladies Breakfast  |  Held the second Saturday of every month from 8:30am to 10:30am in the Nexus Café. After breakfast, we share praise and worship, prayer and devotions, and an insightful message is delivered by a guest speaker.

Spring & Fall Ladies Retreat  |  Held each Spring and Fall, the retreats are a rejuvenating time that can't be beat! Spend a few days at the beach away from your hectic schedule meeting new friends, sharing stories, and growing spiritually. Contact Joan Bowman for more information.

Ladies Annual Tea  |  Held in September, this is one of our most treasured events of the entire year. There are about 30-40 tables setup in the Grand Hall, each with a unique theme and Bible verse that has a special meaning to the hostess. The tables are exquisitely set and the food and tea is prepared and served with love. It is a special time of fellowship and friendship as we explore God's grace in our lives.

The Samaritan Women Partnership  |  The Heritage Ladies Ministries has partnered with The Samaritan Women - a restoration home for survivors of human trafficking - to build healthy and lasting relationships with the residents, teach the residents basic life skills, and raise funds for the program. For more information about this partnership contact Joan Bowman or Melissa Yao

Soaking Prayer  |  A group of believers gathering together in one accord praying over the specific needs of others as found in the scripture of Matthew 18:19-20 "Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for it shall be given you by my Father in heaven. For where two or three come together in my name, there I am with them." For more information, or to set a date and time for yourself or others, please contact Joan Bowman at (410) 551.8500 ext 340.

Zumba!  |  All ladies are welcome to join us in the Music Room on Monday evenings at 6:30 p.m. Althea Wieldon will be leading the class which features Latin worship along with other up-beat praise music. Cost is $5 a class. No prior dance or aerobic fitness training is required. If you love music and want to pick up your feet to worship while you workout, you are bound to have lots of fun. Wear comfortable athletic or yoga style pants and a modest top that will help keep you cool. Bring a towel and water bottle. Zumba Fitness recommends a "cross trainer" type of shoe or "aerobic" style shoe as they provide cushion and support needed for movements.

Rise and Shine Book Club | Please join us in the Nexus Café on the first Saturday of each month. Our book club meetings begin at 8:30 am

Blankets of Joy | A ministry where ladies make homemade blankets and take them to hospitals to distribute to infants and children.
