I was born and raised in Helena, Montana. Then moved to California with my husband and children in 1978. We then moved to Maryland from California in 1995 to take the position of Children's Pastor under the leadership of Pastor Harold Bowman.
I am a Licensed Pastor with Church of God, Cleveland Tennessee. I transitioned from the role of Children's Pastor to Fellowship Pastor when Pastor Steve Hall became Lead Pastor of HCC.
As the Fellowship Pastor at HCC I coordinate with the First Impressions Team to help visitors feel welcomed and comfortable as they consider the possibility of HCC as a new home church. I help attendees come to a better understanding of our Mission, Method and Mandate which will help them make a decision on becoming members with a mission. I am also the HCC Connect Administrator and I work together with leadership and congregation to help them make ministry connections to the church family. I also serve as the Pastor for Mpact and Royal Rangers and help to resource the ministry leadership as they reach and teach young boys and girls for Christ.
I have been married to John Eslick Sr. since 1974. We both grew up in Montana. John is a retired mechanic as well as painter and perfa-taper. We have two amazing sons. John (JoJo) Jr and Cory. JoJo has given us 3 wonderful grandchildren Jared, Hannah, and Malorie. Cory is married to April, daughter of Pastor Cary and Angie Sharpe.
I truly enjoy reading Christian Fiction novels and I would love to reacquaint myself with horseback riding. I enjoy watching Marvel movies with my grandson, Jared and I treasure the time I spend doing jigsaw puzzles with my oldest granddaughter, Hannah. I also love eating tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwiches and making fudge with my youngest granddaughter Malorie.
I look forward to my Sister trips ever few years with my 4 older sisters. (Who all still reside in Montana)
As for things I dislike? I dislike my body growing older, needing eyeglasses to read and my body not being able to do what my young twenty year old mind says it can do. I also dislike driving the speed limit.
My immediate goals are to continue to do the best I can for the kingdom of God while employed at HCC. I want to grow old with the Husband of my youth and enjoy retirement traveling the country. I want to see my children enjoy their retirement (before they start taking care of me and their dad) and to witness my grandchildren finding God fearing mates that love Jesus more than anything.
